A saltwater fisherman can't have too many rods. How many of us have tried explaining to our Wives that we can't wade fish with a Penn 5 foot Boat rod? Not many of us will buy just any old saltwater rod. How much can you save? About4 years ago I took a trip to South Texas and wanted to wade fish for Speckled Trout and Redfish. I had rods that would work, of course, but I really wanted a rod designed for these hard fighting fish. I ended up getting a Falcon Graphite Rod on eBay for $60.99. The price of that rod at a local Sporting Goods store was $139! It's not uncommon to get name brand high quality saltwater rods for less than half what you'd give in a Sporting Goods store or Catalog.
